Honors and AP Courses

MetaPrep Academy Advanced Placement (AP®) courses are college-level courses that follow curriculum specified by the College Board. These courses are designed to prepare students for success on AP exams, providing students the opportunity to earn credit at most of the nation’s colleges and universities. Successful completion of prerequisites, teacher/school counselor recommendation, and a strong interest in the subject are recommended for enrollment in an AP course.

Credit Recovery

MetaPrep Academy credit recovery program is proven to help students earn middle or high school credits in courses they did not pass the first time around With year-round enrollment, our credit recovery courses are designed to supplement the existing curriculum at a student’s school of record. With pre-approval from their school, students can independently take the course they need through MetaPrep Academy , whenever their time allows. When completed, the student’s work is evaluated by MetaPrep Academy and a report is sent to the student’s guidance counselor, who can assign a grade and award credit at their discretion.

Summer School

Students will have access to credit recovery and make up courses. Students can enroll in up to 6 courses. All courses must be completed within 2 months in order to receive credit and to transfer credit back to the high school the student is enrolled in. We ask that students get permission from their high school guidance counselor and/or principal to ensure the credits will be accepted upon completion of the coursework.
